Sorry, just had to rant, this year is so terrible in our area for stinkbugs!
How do you get rid of these buggers?!
My wife bought a very "ayashii" ultrasonic bug repeller. She thinks it works, I think it just got warmer so new bugs haven't come in as much.
OMG SO MANY KAME-MUSHI!!!

Re: OMG SO MANY KAME-MUSHI!!!
We've just noticed them trying to sneak into the house over the last few days so expecting the horde to appear soon enough. That would be good news if the ultrasonic repeller works, does it affect cats or dogs ? Our current method is to grab them with a tissue or two and that seems to lessen their ability to release their awful stench.

Re: OMG SO MANY KAME-MUSHI!!!
We haven't had that many kame-mushi but the spiders are relentless.
Maybe they are eating the kame-mushi, who knows.
We also have a lot of fat gecko activity going on around windows and the front door.
The very strangest thing to happen is the little flowerbed in our driveway and the one inside the front gate are overflowing with pink clover.
It cannot be something natural as it is nowhere else in the neighbourhood.
Must be the seed fairy. (it is quite pretty though)

Re: OMG SO MANY KAME-MUSHI!!!
Last year, I woke up in the middle of the night and went to the bathroom. When I stepped out, I started to close the door and stepped on a potato chip.
Cruuunch.
Oh crap, I thought. Why is there a potato chip on the floor? I just vacuumed the other day.
Yeah well, the unmistakable odor of the evil kamemushi proceeded to invade my house. I smushed that little guy good.
Still not as bad as the time when I stepped in cat puke at the foot of my bed when I was a kid though.
There is nothing quite like stepping in a big pile of cat puke that has had lots of time to chill in the very cool Canadian morning air in a house by the ocean built in the 1920's. That one was compounded by the fact that there was a twine/fiber rug thing with lots of holes so the ick got mashed into all the pores and holes... Bleh!
