Looks like it's going right over the top of us now

I'm wondering how well our Tromboncino frames will hold up to the typhoon ?

My guess is perhaps not very well, this year we set them perpendicular to the direction most incoming typhoons take. Last year they were end on and all got pushed over. As the typhoon is coming in directly from the sea I suspect we'll have the salt wind/rain again.

Oh No it looks like its going to hit you bang on from the ocean side. those are always the worst. I hope everything gets through ok and that it passes really quickly and uneventfully.

Yeah, I don't think we are going to dodge this one

Fingers crossed we come out the other side without too much damage. I reckon everything outside will get it's leaves burnt off from the salt wind/rain and things inside vinyl houses they should be fine.bOr if we are really lucky it might move a little further eatwards and miss us completely

Been a tad breezy overnight. Electricity is off and looks like a few trees got blown down overnight but house is still standing.

How is everyone else fairing ?

Glad you're safe and sound.

Just started getting heavy rain here.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.

I just noticed the title of this thread is misspelled....

But anyway, the 15 is just off the coast from us now. We have some downed trees, but by some miracle, still have power. The river is about 1.5m from the top of the channel.

I am so glad you're safe. I hope the veg fared as well.
