Heya from Hiroshima
Hi all, I am based on the Setouchi near Onomichi in Hiroshima. Teaching English but have a few mates that are farmers (American and Canadian) growing veges/homebrew and grapes respectively. I have helped out a few times and like chilling with farmers here. I grew up in a country town, so it's inaka life for me. Need a dirtbike though . . .

Hi Bob and thanks for joining JSL,
Life down your way sounds pretty nice if you get random Ojisan's dropping off chunks of wild boar for your BBQ . From what I've seen on the tv and in a brief visit to Ehime it looks very nice and seems to have quite a mild climate. Sounds like a nice spot to be in.
