Looks a bit similar to one of the types of rat snakes we see around the farm but hard to be sure.

I got a very nice tan today .. lol. I will post up more pictures from today's adventure later. I had a pretty good day in the mountains.

Re: Post your country pictures!
A very bad day indeed for this little fella
And when it wakes up it will only get worse, it got captured by a parasitic wasp and dragged to a burrow. The wasp disappeared down the burrow presumably to make things comfortable for it's new house guest. Will try and get a picture of the wasp but it's a bit camera shy and flies off as soon as you get close with a camera.
Mind you things don't always go the wasp's way and the local ants wait nearby to mug an incoming wasp for it bounty and then make off with the stunned caterpillar.

And here is mama wasp chilling near to her burrow after setting up another house guest.
Nature can be really horrific at times.

Gday,
This is a pic of a picnic table I made in June. When I made it i put 3 pieces of timber on top and and just recently decided to put a 4th piece on. After fitting It I gave the new piece a coat of shibukaki ( made from persimmons which Brett R mentioned) and noticed that the rest of the table had darkened in the last 2 months. It must be reacting with the timber to keep darkening a pretty amazing product.
Cheers

I got it working for you man,
Just right click on the image (within Imgur.com) and choose 'copy link address', click on the insert image button and past that between img signifiers.
Lovely sod roof, by the way . Is this your new gaff ?
