Yeah, I remember getting up in the mornings to make a run for the WC and sitting down on that nice cold seat.

The pay back time on those is unbelievably swift but we have the opposite to you in that our clear winter days sometimes gives us hotter water than when it's cloudy in the rainy season and summer. Although that can be offset somewhat by the longer days.

Got the NG bill today. Less usage than last year!!

So I don't know what people are paying in Japan now, but here is what residential customers pay in our area.

Supply charge: 76 cents a day.

NG: 2.2 cents per mj or if I'm doing the calculations correctly, A$25.50 per 1000 cubic feet of NG or in yen terms, about 1900 yen. (???)

Or about 5 - 6 times the Henry Hub price of NG in the USA.

I'll have to dig out an old bill to find out what we're paying. Will see if I can find one tomorrow.
